Porch Addition Over the Bayou

Home owners hired me to build this porch to increase the usable living space of their home, and provide an area for entertaining.
Jack Farrell built this porch hanging out over the bayou. The style evokes an old New England boat shed.
Screened-in areas allow breezes to flow through without mosquitoes.

I installed this metal overhang to protect the wooden door from the rain, as well as shelter folks who enter the home.
Jack Farrell likes metal canopies to protect wooden  doors from weathering as well as shelter people from the rain. Jack Farrell also built the custom ironwork for this cypress door, adding security to the back of the house.
